Name input in Visual Basic 6

In the startup form code i call an input box to put your name on the main form. The name is put on the form but when I exit the program and go into it later I have to put the name in again. How do I when putting the name in the variable make the variable hold the value of name indef. so it becomes part of the program for life

The program would need to store that name in a database, a file, a registry key, or something similar. It would not become ‘<i>part of the program</i>’, but the program could read it every time it starts.
