It's worked fine for a year. It's been dropped a few times but it was still working. This happened 3 or 4 years ago and I just now decided to bring it up. I have an Acer Aspire 5735.  It wwon't turn on anymore. I plug the charger in and it lights up put when i press the power button, it won't turn on. Can someone help me please? EDIT: So I pressed the power button and the charging light changed from orange to green but the screen still isn't on and the laptop isn't making any noise.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Few things that needed to be considered and requires your to test it.
-Remove Battery and power ON -see if this will revive it.
-Confirm your Power/Supply Unit if still working
otherwise you have a motherboard fault and requires replacement.

maybe just guessing, the wires that is connected to the screen might have broken or the motherboard might have given way
