My Aironet 1200 want Pass DHCP.
Wireless networking, Cisco Access Points, Aironet, Aironet 1200
I got a question for. I have a Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point. I set it up and gave it an IP Address of 10.0.0.0. So I can access from my PC witch that works great. Then I got a Laptop and try to access the internet from the wireless card. And that work great. But it did not ask me for a Key to logon to my net work. So I turn on the WEP on the access point and gave it a key number . Now when I try to access it. The Access Point ask me for the Key like I wanted to do. The Access Point lets me logon now. But it’s not passing DHCP. Without that I can’t logon on to the Internet. Everything work be for I turn on WEP. Do you know what I need to do to get this to work

I have a DHCP Server that give out IP address. When I turn off WEPon the Cisco Aironet 1200. The Aironet 1200 will pass the DHCP Address so my lapop can log onto the network. But When I turn WEP ON it want. What do i need to do to get this to work??

Hi,

Have you configured the WEP key in your lap ? Have you configured your NIC to allow DHCP? and let me know how you configured your Aironet ?
