Hello guys, I configured router on a stick with multiple VLANs in Cisco 1800 I noticed this error when add VLAN 5 my local DNS won't resolve the URL request, but my first, second & third VLANs are working fine you can surf to the internet using my local DNS. is there a limitation of VLANs in terms of using local DNS? Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks, Joe.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

There shouldn’t be any issues with local DNS. The issue could be a few things:

  1. Return route to the requesting devices – can the devices get to the remote IP addresses and traffic get back?
  2. DHCP helper not configured
