Multiple OSes showing up in boot menu
When booting up Windows 7 it shows 2 other operating systems on the boot menu including Windows XP and another Windows 7. Only the first option for Windows 7 does anything. How can I remove these options and why are they there?

Answer Wiki:
To edit the boot loader information in Windows 7 (and vista) you need to run Boot Configuration Data Editor (BCDEdit). You need to launch a command prompt as administrator and then run BCDEDIT.exe. it will then list the identifiers for the different boot options. Make a note of the identifiers that you want to delete and run Bcdedit /delete {boot loader identifier} On next boot up they should of disappeared.
