Multiple Mailboxes
I have 12 users that manage a shared mailbox, in addition to their own. I am looking for a rule (client side or Exchange) that will allow me to direct any email sent from the Shared mailbox's Inbox, to the Shared mailbox's Sent box, rather than putting it in the user's personal Sent box. I would like anything they send from their personal Inbox to continue to be saved in their personal Sent box. There are two 3rd party tools that can do this, but I would love to be able to save the $2k if I can do it natively.

Answer Wiki:
The only way to accomplish this is to open the shared mailbox in its own profile. Using the mail icon in the control panel set Outlook to prompt for a profile. Then when you open Outlook you will get a prompt to choose the profile. Choose "new" and set up the shared mailbox. Then every time you want to send from the shared mailox, close outlook, re-open it and choose the shared mailbox profile. You CAN set a registry key to keep deleted items in the shared mailbox without having to open it as its own profile, but you cannot do the same for the sent items.
