The only way to accomplish this is to open the shared mailbox in its own profile. Using the mail icon in the control panel set Outlook to prompt for a profile. Then when you open Outlook you will get a prompt to choose the profile. Choose "new" and set up the shared mailbox. Then every time you want to send from the shared mailox, close outlook, re-open it and choose the shared mailbox profile. You CAN set a registry key to
keep deleted items in the shared mailbox without having to open it as its own profile, but you cannot do the same for the sent items.
