Q:
Multiple Lines Forwarding (Callmanager 4.2)
Hi there,

Say I have a User Device Profile with 3 lines.

Line 1: 666001 Line 2: 666002 Line 3: 666003

When someone dials 666001 and someone else dials 666002 a few seconds later, I want the person that dialed 666002 to be forwarded to the forward busy number this directory number 666002 has configured.

The situation now is that when someone calls 666001 and some else dials 666002 a few seconds later both calls will be offered to this user. So I just want the second caller to be directly forwarded to a hunt pilot for example.

Any ideas on how to achieve this? That would be great!

Software/Hardware used:
Cisco Unified CallManager 4.2

Unfortunately a line's forward actions are not dependent on the line state of other lines on the phone. The only thing you could do is set the Ring Setting When Active to disable. on line 2. This would stop any type of ring indication (ring, flash, beep) when the user was on the call. However the call would not forward to the hunt pilot until the No Answer Ring Duration time has elapsed.
