Multiple hard drive question

I have two drives on my PC. A SSD and a HDD. If I install an application (arcGIS) on my solid state. is it okay to store data for that program(maps and files that the program with use in its database) on the HDD or will it be faster to keep them on the same drive.

Yes you can install programs on the SSD and save the data on the spinning disk.  It would be faster to put them on the SSD if the files are very large, but if they are small it probably won’t matter.

    and also take note that ssd will spoil faster if there is too much read and write on it.
