Multiple green screen windows

I have a command that when used, presents an application to the user in the form of a subfile window. From this window, they can select one of multiple entries that calls another program that also displays a subfile window. When finished, F12 returns them to the first program in order to select another record or end the application. Problem: When they press F12 from the second app, the original screen as well as the window border of the first window are erased leaving records and function keys floating in the middle of a black screen. I have ASSUME & OVERLAY specified on a dummy record for both applications. I have OVERLAY specified for both subfile control records. How do I correct this behavior?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I finally had some time to really sit down and figure this out. The solution was to use RSTDSP *YES on the first applications dspf. All works well now.
