Multiple Exchange server integration and interoperability

Exchange 2000, Active Directory, Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007, Domain, GAL, Exchange interoperability, Shared calendars

Back Ground - We have 4 separate Microsoft domains and companies located in different parts of US. Some of the companies have multiple Exchange Servers. We have 3 Exchange 2000 servers, 2 Exchange 2003 servers and 1 2007 Exchange server. The Active Directory is 1 2000 AD and the other 3 are 2003 AD. The companies were recently brought together by acquisitions. The task is to reconfigure the Exchange servers to allow cross-business unit visibility to calendars, folders and contacts. What would be the best way to accomplish this task? What tools are available to allow sharing of GAL and calendars? Looking for suggestions to accomplish the above task. Thank You.
