MySQL, Java Database Connectivity, xampp, NetBeans
Hello .

I've developed a local website using xampp , and I want to access the mysql database in it to develop a J2SE application. Is it possible ? if so could you give me the right keywords to search since I kept trying every single word that could pop into my mind .

The fact that you are using XAMPP doesn't matter. Once XAMPP is running it's just like a regular server install. Here is the documentation for using MySql from java.
