Greetings, The application I'm trying to create needs to add a table to a Word document and populate it. Most of the documentation I've reviewed for this VB 6 app writing to Word 2000 has been a bit vague. Any thoughts on the proper syntax for declarations, adding a table and writing to it? Thanks, Tony

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The easiest way I’ve found to do this is to write your documents out in RTF format. There’s not a lot of documentation on it, so I’ve had to hack the format out. The way I’ve done it is to write a short file, for instance,

One Two Three

Then make “Two” boldface, or whatever effect I needed. Then, save each as RTF, open in a simple text editor, and compare the differences.

If you’re interested in writing RTF format, let me know, and I can send you the codes I’ve worked out.
