Hi, I ve seet up a Systems Management Server 2003 on a non AD server, and enabled the network and heartbeat discovery mode and Client-Push installtion. However, in the All Systems collection, only W2k workstations are showing up. It s not displaying/finding? about 25 missing XP workstations... These also dont show up in the WinXP collection neither. any suggestions? Thank you

would like more details on the issue, like
1. are all the systems a part of the same domain ?
2. all the systems in the same ip subnet ?
3. what happens when you try to access the system using \computer name in the start-> run prompt
4. what happens when you try to access the systems using \ip-address in the run prompt?

    sorry for the missing information, yes, all workstations are in the same domain and subnet. And I dont have any problems with the XP workstations neither, they can log on, print and share and everything. they just dont show up in SMS03. One thing I noticed is, in the collections folder all workstations that are listed are already assigned to a site. On a previous installation of SMS03 I remember clearly, that 2 thirds of about 60 computers listed, werent assigned (but still showed up in my all systems collection...

    What kind of client are you pushing? SP1 will not allow the "legacy" client to be pushed to Advanced client capable systems. credentials? Is there anything in the CCR retry que? Is WINS available and the MP information correct?
