 MS Outlook is synchronizing folders
I get a little icon in the system tray that looks like 2 envelopes mating, and when you hover the cursor over it the balloon reads "MS Outlook is synchronizing folders". This trick essentially stops the PC for 15 to 30 seconds, then it goes away and everything is fine. It happens during rend/receive sometimes, and sometimes not. I have XP and Office 2007, but it was happening under Office 2003 as well. Any ideas?

Answer Wiki:
If it is affecting performance it could be you need more RAM in your system. You are running on cached mode. You could take Outlook off of cached mode for now until you upgrade your RAM.
