what impact will switching from FTP to MQ have on existing FTP delivery system?

MQ Series is a messaging and queuing technology/product designed to allow intercommunication between applications securely with guaranteed message delivery through network outages and other communication type failures. MQ Series is intended to be used to transport small amounts of data for intercommunication purposes only and does not perform well as an FTP replacement to transfer large files. We tried using MQ Series to transfer large amounts of data between systems and quickly reverted back to FTP. If you do switch from FTP to MQ Series be prepared to modify all of your FTP scripts too.
