Hi, we have an MQ Manager that has messages that are unreadable. It seems as if there was supposed to be an ASCII to EBCDIC conversion and it did not happen. It happens sporadically. When we see messages like that starting to happen, we restart the MQ server jobs and everything becomes fine again. Can anyone tell me what the possible causes are? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what the possible causes are? IBM probably can. Have you asked them? Since restarting MQ appears actually to "fix" the condition, it would seem to be a problem requiring a PTF. IBM will be the only source. Tom
