QUESTION ASKED ON BEHALF OF A WHATIS.COM READER: Am learning about MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay and IPLC and am a little lost in understanding how these technologies fit in with the telephone network -- my question is: Can these technologies be provided to clients without the introduction of additional equipment, or can they be provided directly from the existing switching network?
