I exported my .pst file from Outlook 2002 running on XP to another machine running Outlook 2007 on Vista. My mail transfers ok but none of my contacts, tasks, and calendar entries come over. Wassup up with dat?

Are you sure you have the “folder list” selected? If you have just “mail” selected in the left-hand pane, you will not see the calendar, tasks or contacts. Select the “Folder list” icon and they should magically appear :-)

Sometimes the .pst files will be kind of tricky. When you export information for the first time, often time it just creates the folder, you then have to go back and export the specific information into the .pst dir you just made. Are you asking if you can get the imported contacts and calendar to appear in the main bar and have this all as your default personal file folders instead of heaving two sets?
