We have to move an EMC Clariion from one site to another. What are the best practice regarding Mirrorview ? Should  we stop it before the move ? Any suggestion welcome for the sync/resync after the move. Thanks Didier

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You’ll want to pause or stop the mirrors when you take down the array, then bring it back up after the move once you are sure the link is up and stable. I assume that the array will only be down for a night so the resync shouldn’t be that bad. If possible keep the writes on the partner array to a minimum so that you can minimize the resync time.

Thank you for the answer. Yes, the array will be down for half day. So resync will not be a problem. Move will take place in the following months. I let you inform on this post Regards
