Q:
more than two operating systems?
i currently have mandriva spring and windows xp on my pc. is it possible to install a third operating system and get it to boot?
i did install SUSE but i couldn't get it to boot with lilo or grub. althought i could see the partition it used.

You might find it easier to download VMware Server and install that one one of the OSs then virtualize the other two OSs.

There is no real reason to prevent booting three or more OS’es. Check again your lilo or grub configurations - mainly, are root devices set properly and don’t forget to re-run the respective boot-sector “writer”.

VMWare or Virtual PC sounds like the way to go…

If you want to use virtual machine for an OS, I suggest VirtualBox as it is free and works very well. I am using it on a mac so I can use XP. There are versions for windows, linux and mac host machines.
