My Windows 2003 server standard
r2 supports 2 concurent remote administration connecions. How can I make
that 3? I can sacrifice the console session or remote control the console
session if I can. Help!
Contact microsoft for a bigger/better license...
------------------
If u click Start > Administration Tools > Terminal Services Configuration > Properties > RDP-tcp > Network Adapter ! and alas ! u get the Unlimited connections is grayed out.
and again u try Maximum connections to change the value as 1 but it could not response !
Ya ! This is a licensing issue. In details u have to purchase "Terminal Services CALs" and get that what u want.
If u run into the same problem that does not allow the server for connections are full and may see by using qwinsta and rwinsta for query about the terminate sessions thru command prompt...

Depending on your client version, try either mstsc.exe -admin or mstsc.exe -console.
