Good day, We are using Windows 2000 Small Business Server in our organization with Exchange, DNS and ISA server configured. 1. I want to monitor the internet usage by the users. 2. I want to take a report on monthly or daily basis how much MB/GB utilized by each user. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Use the ISA server built-in report utility, where you can define different reports to be run on f.ex. daily and/or monthly basis. ISA server will supply you with a number of reports including the one that you want.

Tip:
Run the report generator under a separate service account and not with your own user account, which will cause your scheduled reports to fail when you change your password.

What are your using for a firewall? Are your using MS Proxy? Some firewalls can provide logs that you can review. Also loging through MS Proxy is also something you can look at. I typically us Webtrends to review both. It gives a good set of reports from both types of loging.

We're using a product called "I-Prism" made by St Bernard. It's an appliance looking like a router that you connect between the switch and the router. You can block access to specific websites or websites category such as retail stores, adult content, etc. There are a lot of reports showing what you need. However, this solution is not cheap.
