 mocha SOFT for AS/400
AS/400, AS/400 Server, MochaSoft, TN5250
I have downloaded Mochasoft AS/400(TN5250.This is trailer version for 30 days. Hear i want to access the AS/400 server.The thing is I cant able to go to main menu on AS/400 screen.Because when i go to log on for main menu,it is asking AS/400 host no. what should we give inthat place and how can we create id

If you are going to telnet into some system, you have to tell the telnet program (Mochasoft TN5250 in this case) what address it should connect to. The address can be an actual IP address or it can be a host name.

When it asks for the host name, enter the host name of the AS/400. You should at least be able to use the host name with a ping command without getting an error that the host isn’t recognized.

how can we create id

“id”? What id? If you don’t already have an id available on the host, you can’t use telnet.
