Hello everyone, I recently downloaded the MMAIL Utility for Windows from http://www-922.ibm.com/mmailh/wmimemenu.htm I believe it installed successfully, but I get the following error for several functions like edit, display or open mime files. Error: "The value specified for one of the parameters is not valid for QZRUCLSP API." Any help will be greatly appreciated. Joe L. Orozco

I had same kind of errors due to CCSID. MMAIL is tested in a 400 with QCCSID=037 & jobccsid 037 As I have a 400 with qccsid = 65535 & jobccsid = 297 (ie from France), I had the @ char transformed to a (classic conversion error). So I have found one configuration where message could be sent quite correctly. This configuration is not one of our production configuration, so we don't use mmail in production. We will rework mmail when we will go to QCCSID not 65535 have you some dumps ? have you some strange message before the escape error ?

Why not go to QCCSID 297 right now? I.e., you said “…when we will go” to QCCSID other than 65535 as if it was intended for the future. What are you waiting for? The longer you wait, the more objects will be created with improper attributes.

If you have multiple CCSID environments and you have been setting the environment as each environment is started, maybe you’re handling everything well. But then the question becomes why are you looking to go away from 65535?

Change QCCSID and likely be done with it.
