Yes you can have mix of BOTH MS Office 2007-2010 installed. However, you can only view 2007 file with 2010 and not the opposites.

are you going to install it in a single computer or laptop? if lets say you have 2007 and you install a 2010, you will need to either upgrade or remove the 2007 before you can upgrade to 2010..
