When I set up a recurring meeting in Lotus Notes, the repeating times drop off of the Notes Calendar.  I have even limited the number of repeats to no more than 4 weeks and it has not made a difference.  How do I get the entries back on my calendar?  How do I get this to stop happening?

Software/Hardware used:
Lotus Notes 8.5

Hi ,

1. Let me know if you are able to see on all calendar entries.
2. If not then there must be problem in your calendar view
3. Try to run Updall -F and or try to do ctl+Alt+F9 to rebuild the view
4. try to copy the calender and paste into the all calender entries.

Ranjit, When the entries fall off of the calendar, they disappear from the "all calendar entries" as well. I can find the email requests in All Documents, but when I open the meeting request I get an error message of "Error trying to open document: Invalid or nonexistent parent document". It's almost as if the origiinal entry disappears. I cannot locate where the original is supposed to be stored since it is not in the Sent Folder or All Documents folder. Any help is greatly appreciated. By the way we are running version 8.5. Thanks much! Becky Miller

Why does Lotus Notes 8.5 consistently present the error "there is a duplicate meeting" when no meeting exists in the time slot I'm entering the meeting in. I use a Blackberry to sync with lotus notes.

I also have a similar problem. Calendar entries have started disappearing from my calendar view (e.g., One Day, One Week, One Month). However, calendar entries show up under "Lists" (e.g., Calendar Entries). When I try to recreate a new entry for the blank time slot, I get a message that the blank time slot is occupied. Also, the affected entries do not show up on my hand held device like they used to.

I have same experience as Jesse808 (and I had rebuilt all views) Calendar entries have started disappearing from my calendar view (e.g., One Day, One Week, One Month) BUT they show up under “Lists” (e.g., Calendar Entries). If I open the meeting in the List , then type something in the "Personal Notes" tab and SAVE (it does not create a response)... my meeting shows up again in my calendar. But how doe I find the missing Calendar entries that I'm not aware have disappeared? (*sighI*). I'm using Notes 8.5.3 but I didn't notice this until after Jan 1, 2012.
