The experience we have on mimix replication before was also slow since our network bandwidth is only 10MBPS. But when management decided to purchase a product from Riverbed called Network Optimizer, this really improved mimix replication by 85%. This product is really effective. You can recommend this to your boss if you plan to improve the speed of your mimix replication but the product is quite expensive, here in the philippines, the unit server cost Php 2.5M per unit.
