I have no idea what Millenium Solution4 does nor how it works. It's hard to imagine any Y2K product that still has any purpose after more than a decade of use in the new century -- especially if it requires continued licensing to keep working.

Does it actually "do" anything now? Is it required just to keep applications working? Or was it used as part of a conversion effort?

I would think you probably need to review the purchase contract with particular attention to the licensing terms.

It's likely that you can continue to use the product if you don't renew the maintenance, but you won't be able to receive any updates and any OS or hardware upgrades may well disable the product.
