 Migration of windows 2003 with exchange server 2007 to windows server 2008

dear all

 i m running exchange 2007 on window server 2003 but now i want to upgrade my window server 2003 to 2008 with same exchange 2007.please guide me would i have to install new exchange on window server 2008 if yes then what will be done with my previous mails,how i can upload my privious mails in new exchange 2007 on window 2008?

DELL power edge 2950 , window server 2003,2008 and exchange 2007

I would create a new Windows 2008 server. Install Exchange 2007. Use the move-mailbox cmdlet from the Exchnage Management Shell to migrate the mailboxes to the new server. Remove exchnage from the old server after you have made sure that all coneectors etc are configured for the new server
