Hi! I have question about AD migrating from Windows 2000 server (DC1) (works as Global catalogue server in the domain1 with Exchange 2000, DNS, and DHCP) to new Windows 2003 domain controller (DC3). There is another Windows 2000 DC (DC2) in the network, now (and about 120 workstations). I need that DC3 works only as domain controller (domain2), and then I need to migrate Exchange 2003 to the separate Windows 2003 server (server1). 1) Can you tell me what do I need to do (know) if I want to migrate in described way? 2) Will I use MS AD migration tool or dcpromo ?(AD installation wizard) 3) Can you know how to write a migration plan? Thank You!

Go to Microsoft's Website and download the Administrator Pack to migrate AD from W2000 Server Operating System to W2003 Server Operating System. Try using the windows 2003 Server disk and install the migration tool from Windows Server 2003 Operating System disk, by adding Windows components.
