I am planning to migrate my SQL Server 2000 databases to SQL Server 2005 on a failover cluster environment. What is the simplest strategy you could recommend to fulfill this goal?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Build a new SQL Server 2005 Cluster and recommission the old SQL Server 2000 cluster once migration is complete, This gives you the simplest migration strategy called ‘running in parallel’.

However with SQL Server 2005 you have High Availability technologies such as Database Mirroring so you can examine whether you need to setup an expensive and difficult clustering at all!
