Migrate .PST files from old Exchange domain to server in a new domain

Microsoft Exchange, Exchange 5.5, Windows 2000, .PST files, Domain management, Exchange 2003

My company has an Exchange 5.5 server on a Windows 2000 operating system. We already built an Exchange 2003 server on a Windows 2003 operating system in a different domain. What is the best way to transfer user .PST files from the old Exchange Server 5.5 domain to the Exchange 2003 server in the new domain?

In Exchange 2003 there is the Mail Migration Wizard that will let you easily do this. I did this a couple of weeks ago and successfully migrated from 5.5 to 2003. It runs on the 2003 server and the wizard will guide you through a handful of steps to complete the migration.
