Exchange 2003, Exchange 5.5, Outlook
I have 2 domains on the same subnet Domain1 is NT4.0/exchange 5.5 Domain2 is W2k3/Exchange 2003 I have created users and mailboxes in Domain2 getting ready to switch everyone over and then shutdown Domain1. Here's the catch....I am changing naming conventions at the same time. going from 'firstname last initial' to 'first initial last name' Is there a migration tool or method that I can I move only the mailbox contents to the new mailboxes I created already in exchange 2003? I know I can do each mailbox individually by .pst file but I don't want to. I know there are migration tools out there but will they work from different domains? and will they work with different mailbox names? Please help... thanks

Hi there are many options to do this. You can script this ore use Exmerge. Another way is to use a 3'rd Party toll like Ontrack Powercontrolls. www.ontrack.com This tool can connect to two different server and you can move the messages and all other content to the new mailbox.
