Q:
Migrate email from Exchange 2000 to Lotus Domino 7
we have an exchange 2000 server that need to be migrated to lotus domino 7.0 using Domino Migration Tools provided by Lotus. The coexistance between Exchange and Domino had run successfully. The problem is that, when we tried to migrate several Exchange users to Domino, we could only migrate user accounts without any single mails. We supposed that during migration, besides creating new mail database, Lotus Domino will migrate the email messages of that user too. Are there any solutions for this problem? Thank you

One way would be to transfer the emails with IMAP. Obviously this is only feasibly in a relatively small environment and your uers do not mind giving you access to their emails. Domino Migration Tools did not work properly for us either; IBM support engineers sent a bunch of links which weren't very helpful.

Look into BinaryTree CMT Migration utility. That is what we used to migrate data

I know the big issue is folder limitations, the nesting and such. The Binary tool does a great job avoiding this issue.
