Hello everybody,

i recently downloaded the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition. It has Visual Basic 2008, Visual C# 2008, Visual C++ 2008 and Visual Web Developer 2008 (all Express editions). The problem is i dont know where to start.

I have programming background. i have programmed in C++ and Visual Basic 6.0 (at university). I havent programmed in about 2 and half years. then i discover that i dont know where to begin with programming (coz my nature of job is now into networking and server administration). Can i still manage to program. Can someone who has knowledge on Visual studio 2008 coach me (espeacially with, Visual Basic and Visulal C#) in programming using the named development environment (is this the dot NET????). It also comes with SQL Sever 2005.how does the SQL Server 2005 work with these programming environment..any e-books, notes, tutorials .......I am longing to go back to my programming days..Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!
