Q:
Microsoft Virtualization future
What is Microsoft's view on virtualization, now that Hyper-V can soon be managed via Citrix Essentials. I get the impression that Microsoft wants to leave the virtualization story to Citrix and VMWare.

This question is from the Microsoft Virtualization Chat on ITKnowledgeExchange.com

Microsoft is strongly in the virtualization space, with what many believe to have the richest set of virtualization products (both desktop and server). We are working with our partners, like Citrix, to bring more value and options to them. It should be pointed out that Microsoft products, like SCVMM, even manage VMware systems.
