I am wondering if you can reflect on whether the Virtualization that I mostly deal within the management of resources, whether physical or logical or both -- could be other bases that one can get the most efficient and optimized? This question was asked during the Microsoft System Center live chat on IT Knowledge Exchange in January 2010.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Virtualization is a tremendous capability that allows an organization to efficiently utilize the resources available. More and more IT Organizations want to ensure that the services they provide are available to their “customers,” to ensure this, they need a Virtualization Platform that can dynamically adjust to the rapidly changing workloads. Microsoft Virtualization with Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V and the System Center Suite of Tools provide this Foundation that enables organizations to achieve this desire. They can now have a stable and secure platform that will adjust, dynamically, to the changes in workload.
