 Microsoft outlook express
Hi, Last week I accidentally deleted some emails from Microsoft outlook. I been trying to get all those email back but I haven?t get any luck. I used an xp professional with Microsoft 2003. The emails that I deleted were in the deleted file. I was wondering if one of you has any suggestions. Thanks

If these messages were downloaded via the POP3 protocol (like Hotmail, Gmail or the like), you're S-O-L. Sorry. However, if you are pointing to a corporate Exchange server, browse to the Deleted Items folder, then from the Action menu, select "Recover Deleted Items". Depending on how long it's been since you deleted the items and what your administrator has the retention set to, you may have access to these items. Good luck!

If this does not do it, your data has been lost, unless you want to go with an OnTrack software package that is about $400-500. Depends on how much the messages are worth.

It may already be too late to recover the messages, since the area in the PST were overwritten or the file shrunk by Outlook to eliminate white space in the file.
