Microsoft Outlook error messages
“This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.” This error message appears whenever I click on a link. What can I do to fix the problem?

    There is nothing you can do to fix it. You can only ask your network administrator if you can be allowed to perform the action that is blocked. The permission can only be changed at a higher level. -- Tom

    Try out the following tips: 1. Reset internet explorer settings to default i.e. make your Internet Explorer the Default browser. 2. Restore System to earlier date. 3. To resolve this issue, run the following commands : REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.htm /ve /d htmlfile /f REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.html /ve /d htmlfile /f REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.shtml /ve /d htmlfile /f REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.xht /ve /d htmlfile /f REG ADD HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.xhtml /ve /d htmlfile /f If these tips doesnt help you then go to the Microsoft help page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049 Click the Fix it button or link.
