I am writing a story, and i wanted to hear it out loud. See because i wrote it, i know what it is supposed to say, so i end up correcting it with out knowing it. I was just wondering if there is an option to have my story narrated

Answer Wiki:
What you are looking for is called a screen reader. Windows includes one as part of the accessibality tools, or you can purcahse a third party one. In Windows Vista it's available in the control pannel under Text To Speach. In Windows XP it's available in the control pannel under Speach. Alternately, there are many programs that do this available on the internet-- some of which are free. Try these: NaturalReader Text Aloud Here is a search that yields possible results.

If the windows speech one does not work satisfactorily then try Dragon Naturally Speaking. It is costly but works great.

This is true, there are several third party tools which can be purchased. Most are fairly pricy, and Dragon is the best of the 3rd party tools.
