I have an issue...
When I start Outlook 2007 (same with Outlook 2010) for the first time (with no profile created) it tries to autodetect the settings for Exchange.
It detects the username and email address. When you click next, it shows a green tick next to "Establish Network Connection", but as soon as it goes to the "Search for Administrator@domain.com.au server settings", it gives an error message: "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete the action." It worked fine when I manually enter the server address.
Please help.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I’m able to connect to Exchange mail server using manual settings but since I’m in the domain, Outlook must automatically setup every thing once I enter the username and email automatically but this is not happening.

Hi Redhot2006, Are you using a automatic profile configuration? When Outlook gives you your error does it give you the window to put the server name and username? If yes, then normally there should be some information in the server field. Let us know and I think we will go from there.

Sounds to me like autodiscover, Make sure that autodiscover.yourdomain.com(depends on what your urkl is) resolves internally to your CAS server, if it doesnt you can also create a normal dns record with the name autodiscover and point it to your CAS ip, Regards
