Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2008

Hello,
I have installed exchange 2007 and want to be able to un-embed .wav voicemails instead of having them embedded. Is this possible? I have tried removing the UM profile for the user however the eMail's still comes through with the embedded Media Player for the message.
If you reqire anymore information please let me know, I apoligise for the vagueness (if thats a word) however I am new to the exchange world.
Software/Hardware used:
Windows Server 2008 Standard 64bit

I know you asked this a long time ago, so you may have an answer already. What phone system are you using? I know with a Cisco Unity system the task you are looking to do would be done from within the Cisco Administration Console. There is a chance that you are looking in the wrong place.
