Microsoft Exchange 2003 On Windows Server 2003 64-bit

I want to upgrade our Windows 2003 32-bi to 64-bit and it hosts our Exhange 2003 (Version 6.5.7926.0). I can't find any document that shows the compatibility of Exchange version to Windows 2003 Server 64-bit Edition. Basically, we want to maximize the capability of our hardware which can handles up to a maximum of 12GB of memory.

From my experience, Exchange needs to be installed on the same set as the OS due to Exchange files.
