Hi all, I noticed that in my Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that several of the cells are hidden. I'm not sure why that happened. What's the cause of this? Thank you.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If the sheet was sent to you by another user they may have been hidden for a reason. to open these columns back up click on the first column and drag to the next visible column. Then right click and select UNHIDE. This will make the hidden cells visible again. Use the same method but select HIDE to hide them again. This is done to hide unnecessary data unless needed. You will know if anything is hidden when the column letter designation has missing letters. Example c,d,h, means e,f,g are hidden

Have you installed add-in recently. If yes, that might be cause the problem. Or check if you have added a filter in the worksheet. Click go to data > cancel filter to check the issue. You can copy all data and paste it on an another spread sheet and check what happens.
