They maybe there and you don't see them. Records may appear in a different order than they were entered in.  If using a view or query rows will only appear if they meet the selection requirements.

I am entering them in a form but I even went to the table and they didnt show up there.  The table is weird looking also because the rows are skipping number order and each row has a plus sign next to it.  What do you think?

What happens when you click the plus?

Are you looking at the table or at the form in table mode?
You may have set some selection rules on the form.

It won't accept a row if:

    Entry violates primary key constrant

       Blank Field in primary

       Duplicate primary

    Any field violates field constraints

I have looked at it from the form view and then when I verified the info was not there at all I went to the table mode.  I have never had items just fail to appear.

Have you looked at the actual table .. not the form .. not the form in table mode?

I was hoping that we would get some others that are more familiar with Access to give us advice.

Not many IT people like this program is my guess.  It is rather basic, which is why I am using it..lol

When you are looking at the actual table make sure that there are no selection/ filtering or ordering rules.

I'm not an Access expert either, but it sounds to me like there is problem in the form, and the records are not being inserted into the table.

I think you can check the way your tables are linked. And Ensure Integrity Issues-in other words, for instance, in Hospital Mgt Dbase I Must get all the details of the patient before refer him/her to any specified Dept Because on reporting to the Dept reffered he/she will be asked the Number(Patient No as Pk). Do you understand that simple relationship?Secondly Does your Dbase have both the Backend and Front End?Backend will have only Tables while FE will have forms with codes, which means you can modify your FE without affecting the Tables. And if have installed Be and Fe sytem Dbase the you may check your connections logistics? I am using Backend and Fe Dbase system(Access) so if still have problem then you need to say see if I may help you?But please ensure your tables are normalise correctly;as well as your table relationship, Ok?

My humble suggestion to the Community is based on the facts; inasmuch as we try to provide certain solutions to any addressed question sometimes becomes more difficult to figure out exact where the problem lies. I was thinking if the Community can find a better system of how to enable  members to share their projects so that when trying to provide logical reasons you see how the project or program is behaving....

Without knowing the table definitions and the logic of whatever form or function was used to input any rows, we can't guess why rows might be missing or appear to be missing. Please post the definitions for us to look at. -- Tom

Ok So Sorry!  I have six tables, contracts, contract amendments, invoices, noncontract invoices projects and vendors.  All the tables are linked by project.  Everything depends on the project (parent).
