Q:
Micros Virtual Server and external SCSI disk drives.
VMWare allows you to install a virtual machine and OS on an external physical disk.

Is this possible on Micorosofts Virtual Server and if so what is the procedure?

It appears that Microsoft Virtual Server will allow you to make a virtual copy of an external SCSI disk drive but not actually allow you to load and run the OS on an external SCSI physical disk.

Thanks for any info.

It should. The server shouldn't know if a hard drive is internal or external.
