.PST files, .PST migration, Outlook, Outlook 2003, Outlook contacts, Outlook error messages, Vista
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. if the problem persists restart outlook" I get this messge when I try to import CONTACTS .pst file from Outlook 2003 on my PC (Windowws XP) to Outlook 2003 on my laptop (Vista). How can I import my Contacts?

When you export your contacts folder, try exporting to a file instead of a personal folder. Choose import/Export - then export to a file - then commas separated values (windows) - choose your contacts folder - choose the location where you can find it again. It will export to a .csv file, then run import from that file on your laptop.
