   Check for this settings. Open Notes Client., 
Click File -&gt; Preferences -&gt; User Preferences. 

   You get a window. In that, Below Default Fonts Button, You will find this &quot; For trash that is not emptied at a timed interval, empty trash folder&quot; below this there is a drop-down combo box. There select &quot;Manually&quot;. 

   Your problem should get sorted out with this. Pls check this. Awaiting your mail.
