Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Hi,

You can do a WRKACTJOB and put your cursor over the Status and hit F1. This will tell you what each status is. Below is a sample of what you will see…

The status of the initial thread of the job. Only one
status is displayed per job. A blank status field
represents an initial thread that is in transition.

Possible values are:

BSCA
The initial thread of the job is waiting for the
completion of an I/O operation to a binary
synchronous device in the activity level.

BSCW
The initial thread of the job is waiting for the
completion of an I/O operation to a binary
synchronous device.

Regards,
TPinky

MSGW = Message Waiting CNDW (completely forgot) but I'm guessing it has something to do with connection waiting. EVTW = Event Waiting DEQW = I want to say Dataque Waiting, but, I'm pretty sure I'm wrong. All DQ's on mys system are off right now. DLYW = Delay Waiting

Place the cursor on the column and press F1 - the help will display for that field. So to see what the Status messages mean - click on say "MSGW" in that column and press F1. You'll be able to page through the help
