Message ‘ Request Completed Normally ‘

IFS Commands
When a screen menu option, which I developed, is initiated by me or my users it works correctly. However there is one user who gets this message after initiating the same screen menu option. I have used DSPJOBLOG and this is what I found. File system error occurred. Error number 3025. Copy command ended because of error.  Error 3025 refers to no such path or directory. That is not the case otherwise I and the other users would get the same message. The menu option uses the IFS command CPYFRMIMPF. The user in question is defined to the IFS. Can someone help? What can I do to correct this problem. One other thing. When I open a second screen session and initiate the same menu option I get the message.

A directory can be available to some but not others.

<i>The user in question is defined to the IFS.</i>

I don’t know what that means. Users aren’t ‘defined’ to the IFS. The IFS is the IFS for every user. (However, individual directories may be visible to different users; directories may be ‘mounted’ under some conditions and not others.)

Please provide an example of the CPYFRMIMPF command. Also show any variable values that might be substituted into parameters. This might suggest other questions for more clarification.

What I meant is that the user has a directory in the IFS with her userid. Sorry for any conflusion. Even though the user gets the the ' Request Completed Normally ' message I set myself up to receive the ' SNDUSRMSG MSG(&MSGTXT) MSGTYPE(*INFO) TOUSR(RBCHAVE) ' whenever the users use this option. I hope this clears things up. Just a small reminder, the code in this option works for me & other users except this one. CPYFRMIMPF FROMSTMF('/orbit/prod/ZPCHAVE/TVDIST.csv') + TOFILE(*LIBL/ARPTVIDT) MBROPT(*REPLACE) + RCDDLM(*CRLF) STRDLM(*NONE) FLDDLM(*TAB) + RPLNULLVAL(*FLDDFT) MONMSG MSGID(CPF2817) EXEC(DO) DLTF FILE(*LIBL/ARPTVIDT) CHGVAR VAR(&MSGTXT) + VALUE('The Excel TV Invoice Distribution spread sheet + needs to be downloaded before using this option. + Exit & download spread sheet or contact Patty + Chavez or Vicki Barton') SNDUSRMSG MSG(&MSGTXT) MSGTYPE(*INFO) TOUSR(&USERIDD) SNDUSRMSG MSG(&MSGTXT) MSGTYPE(*INFO) TOUSR(RBCHAVE) GOTO ENDPGM ENDDO

Can the user access a command line? If so, what is the result of:
    dspf ’/orbit/prod/ZPCHAVE/TVDIST.csv’
If command line access isn't normally available, can you set QSYS/QUSCMDLN as the user's attention program temporarily? (Or maybe a simple CL that just runs the DSPF.) Starting with the simplest test helps eliminate possibilities quickly. Tom
